A Little About Myself

Urlingford Pre-school for Little Learners has been opened since 1991, and is situated at the Old school Urlingford. It is run by Angela Brennan, Monday to Friday; five mornings from 8:30am to 1:30pm for children from the age of 2.5yrs to school going age. We offer the free pre-school ECCE scheme of 2 years free pre-school. Also NCS scheme (income assessment) for those who are eligible.
We run an Afterschool Service Monday to Friday 1:30p.m to 5.30p.m - collection times from Urlingford National are 1:30 and 2:30. Drop-in service from other schools in the area also available. We provide hot healthy dinners, homework club and lots of extra curricular activities.
In our preschool we use the 'High Scope curriculum' framework, which promotes children's well-being and development, by following and supporting children's interests and encouraging active learning. Working with children and families within an enriched environment, lead by children's interests, by caring and experienced staff. We also follow the Aistear cirriculum and Siolta framework.
